SIGMADUAL welded plate modules – when two fluids need to remain segregated.

Critical fluids require a higher level of operational reliability. Our SIGMADUAL semi-welded design provides this reliability through the use of plate modules that are welded in pairs, thus providing security without sacrificing flexibility. The sealing on the critical process side is made by laser welding the seam around the plate flow channels and a ring gasket around the flow ports. On the service side, the flow channels are sealed by an elastomer gasket allowing full serviceability but the port of that fluid is also laser welded.

The SIGMADUAL offers the flexibility of adding or changing individual SIGMADUAL plate modules thus making it easy to adapt an existing heat exchanger to new, altered operating conditions.
