New Major Expansion

API Heat Transfer has just completed a major expansion of our Buffalo, NY facility.  The expansion provides an additional 53,000 ft² of manufacturing space with new Quickmill machining center, Koike Aronson gas plasma cutting table, shot blast booth, paint booth, and an additional 28 jib and bridge cranes with largest being 100 tons.  The expansion will house both Shell & Tube manufacturing and Plate Heat Exchanger assembly.

This expansion project also includes a new Product Development lab.  The lab will be equipped with a new 30,000 CFM Calorimetric Flow Stand with a semi-open temperature control loop, a 3,000 CFM Flow Stand, an oil loop, a glycol loop, and a pilot plant evaporation system.   Utilities will also be upgraded to support the new lab.  The lab will be used for in-house product development work as well as for third party testing on a contract basis.  For more information on our lab testing capabilities, contact Dr. Arif Khan at 716-684-2307 or at akhan@apiheattransfer.com.
